Salto Advisers strengthens the team with Marius Strand as new senior advisor and partner

Salto Advisers is experiencing strong demand from clients requesting assistance with their capital market communications, as well as the design and communication of operational and financial strategy. One year after launch, the service offering within Investor Relations and financial communications is being strengthened with the appointment of Marius Strand as a new senior advisor and partner.

Marius Strand has a broad and solid background in the capital markets. He has an industrial background from the raw materials department at Yara, debt and equity experience from the investment bank SEB and most recently as a capital markets advisor at Capient.

- Marius has a solid understanding of the operational running of companies and the driving forces in the capital market. He is analytical, solution-oriented and pragmatic with a broad network. On several occasions, his name has come up with enthusiasm. I am sure that Marius will take the company further and that clients will benefit from his expertise and understanding of the capital market, says Mats Samdahl Weltz, CEO and partner at Salto Advisers.

Strengthens capital market communication
Since its inception, the company has been engaged in projects related to, among other things, M&A, IPOs, issues, refinancing, capital markets days, investor surveys and related strategy projects, in addition to ongoing reporting and communication.

- The need for capital does not disappear even if access is weaker than usual. We are therefore now seeing that many companies are spending time preparing for the market to be more accessible. The companies that are successful prioritize continuous investor care and communication with the capital market. It may be too late to start preparations when everyone else is about to raise money, says Weltz

The company currently has five advisors and has settled into premises at Solli plass in Oslo.

Agenda 2024
Marius had his first day of work on February 1. He will be a key advisor in ongoing customer projects, as well as an advisor and supporter for capital market players on what is on their agenda in 2024.

- The end users of our products are often decision-makers, and therefore it is important to be up to date on the companies' agenda and future vision in order to deliver relevant and up-to-date advice. I am impressed by what the team at Salto has already achieved. An advisory environment has been built, with sharp professional expertise and drive, which I look forward to becoming a part of, says Strand.

Strand holds a degree in economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), with a master's degree in energy, natural resources and the environment.

The company is now looking for more skilled and motivated advisors to further strengthen the advisory team.

- We are grateful for the trust our customers have shown. We are now gearing up to be even more relevant for upcoming projects in the capital market and to be a preferred partner, concludes Weltz.
